We have a deep love of the land where we grew up. It’s where we feel most at ease, at peace, and truly fulfilled. This is why we believe that the key to everything lies in the land.

The essence of our wines

When we decided to start planting vineyards and producing wine in Ribera del Duero, we knew that selecting the right locations and soils was essential for making quality wines that genuinely express the character of our wine region.

Our goal is for you to experience the purity, connection and energy of the land through our wines.

In choosing where to plant our vineyards, we sought out fertile soils for viticulture, specifically those that before the 1960s were dedicated to vineyards but that were later abandoned or replaced by cereal crops.

We chose diverse soil types to add different nuances to the grapes, allowing us to create wines that are more expressive and complex

We focussed on high-altitude areas of Ribera del Duero in Burgos and Segovia—colder, well-aerated soils that produce fresher wines with higher acidity and ageing potential.

The essence of our wines is deeply rooted in the land: in the unique soils, the resilient vines that flourish there, and the high-quality grapes that emerge from this terroir.

Back to our Organic Origins

Our commitment to returning to our roots and reclaiming the essence of the terroir, while nurturing it with love and respect, inspired us to embrace organic viticulture and achieve organic certification of our wines.

We stopped using chemical fertilisers, opting instead for organic compost to enrich the vineyard soil.

We also shifted our focus to monitoring and preventing pests and diseases in order to avoid the use of systemic pesticides or fungicides.

We soon realised that by dedicating time to caring for the soil and vines, the ecosystem began to self-regulate.

So, we returned to working the vineyard as it was done in the past, with greater respect for the biodiversity surrounding our vineyards, whilst taking advantage of our privileged location in Ribera del Duero.

This does not mean we leave the vineyard to its own devices; on the contrary, we invest countless hours in the field, carefully tending to the vines and performing essential tasks to ensure the vines remain strong and healthy.

In return, we obtain high-quality grapes that convey all the expressiveness, purity and essence of the soils where they grow.

Once in the winery, we maintain a meticulous winemaking process, carefully monitoring each stage of development and ageing to ensure that the grapes are the true stars of our premium wines.
